I have recently test driven both cars and the Fusion is my choice. The Fusion has more standard options and more available options that you cannot even get on a Malibu. Ride quality? Drive both for yourself and you decide which is smoother, I think the Fusion is. The Fusion also gets better MPG, just go online and look at the window stickers for both cars. Neither car is a bad car but the Fusion is better.
@stubobbyo me and my parents rented a fusion for a 4 door it had nice pep we liked it but defitnly did not fit the gas mileage it said we got 25 overall a lot worse than i thought so it wasnt worth it
About the fuel economy the malibu gets EPA 22/33 the fusion actually gets EPA 23/34. As well, the fusion hybrid is even better. In Canada it can run up to 75 km/h on electric alone which makes for AMAZING fuel economy going aroung the city. The fusion has more power, and offers a manual transmission which some people prefer. Oh, and the fusion has a better resale value, tell that to your customers when they want to trade in their car.
pretty cool, i like this guy. The next host of motorweek. :)
