  • This is one of my favorite songs off that album. Gorgeous song.

  • Nice name there. I can't help but refer to a tral-la line up for the Mystery Tour just reading your name.

Thanks for the nice comment and the view.

  • hehehe That was the intention. :)

  • It was a good intention.

  • Thanks for sharing your songs - it is amazing to find great songs like this one that I have never heard of.

  • I got a million of em just not enough time to create them.

  • This song was used in an Infiniti car commercial a few years ago. Bruce Arnold, leader of Orpheus, re-recorded a new version for it.

Thankfully it didn't have Alan Lorber's annoyingly Jewish strings at the end. That always bugged me.

  • You have the most extraordinary collection of obscure but quality tunes from the magic late 60s. Thanks much.

  • sublime!!!!!!

  • Thank you. This brings me waaay back to a very happy time in my life. I remember supposedly doing homework and just sitting and listening to my one Orpheus album over an over and over and...........

  • Bruce Arnold's trademark ba da da da's from "Can't Find The Time" make an appearence at 1:24.

You can thank the conspiracy of the so-called "anti-establishment" groups in the late 60's for discounting and disregarding Orpheus. You can also thank the corporate music world for turning tail and failing to stand up to the 'hippy'-crites. The suits at MGM could have made Orpheus a household name but they chickened out - and as a result, an amazing band, which essentially predicted the direction that popular music would head in the next decade, was largely forgotten.

  • I purchased a double CD Best of Orpheus collection and gave this song a listen for the first time. I fell in love with it! I love the use of strings here.
