Colombo Air Raid of 20 February 2009
Following a heavy offensive by the Sri Lankan Military which has cornered the Tamil Tigers into a small area in the North East, the Air Tigers launched presumably their last attack on Colombo on February 20, 2009. Two LTTE air crafts tried to bomb Sri Lanka Air Force base at Colombo but the bomb fell about 500m off target. The ninth floor of the Sri Lankan Inland Revenue building was hit with a bomb and set ablaze. At least 50 people were injured, including 2 Sri Lanka Air Force personnel, with two of the injured were succumbed to their injuries. Both of the Air Crafts used in the attack were gunned down near the Inland Revenue building and over the Katunayake Air Force Base skies by Sri Lanka Air Force Anti-Aircraft Guns.

There is nothing the people,us as sri lankans, can do to that. we want to live free just like the tamils do. we treat all tamils exactly the way we treat any other race. all singhalese,tamils, muslims and burghers are the same in this country. we did ceasefire for 2 days for the well being of the people ther but they either refused or were held. so ask the so called aid groups/human rights, which help the terrorists, to tell LTTE(terrorists) to release the people. Way to go SLARMY. Keep going.
