Drop of Hemophilia Love - Tetes Cinta Hemofilia - Part 1

This documentary tries to explain what hemophilia is through the stories of hemophilic families when they found out that one of their family member is suffering from hemophilia, the services they receive from hospitals, also explanations from FSG (Family Support Group) Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia, as one of the organization for hemophilia patients and their family, then this movie tries to summarize all of those as a public eye opener and purging judgments which accused on hemophilic patients and their family.

The movie begins with public opinion on hemophilia, continued by Mrs. Yenis case. She is a mother of a hemophilic child, who had no idea about what hemophilia is. How she illustrates when her child is having small bruises, gum bleeding, kneecaps dislocation, to the story when she brought her child to a doctor and consulted to undergo a surgery procedure. She illustrates the hospitals complicated service system for the poor and the how expensive the price of the drug is. Also the same with Mrs. Sandi, her case is similar with Mrs. Yeni. Her concern is on how slow the hospitals are when her child is in a critical condition. In this movie, doctors like Professor Iman Sukiman and Professor Bidasari tries to explain what hemophilia is, and the anticipations that must be done when the patients is in a critical condition.

The concern from the patients and their families inspires those who care with their conditions; one of them is Mrs. Wahyu Dilts, she establishes FSG (Family Support Group) Medan, one of the organizations on an effort in gathering the complaints from the patients and their families, Patients, doctors, and health observers, where this organizations tries to find a way out, sharing their knowledge and stories, and benefiting activities for their members.

The movie is accompanied by beautiful compositions by Cozy Street Corner, entitled Wenana Nayo, and Teh, Jubing Kristianto include his songs Amelia, and Once Upon a Rainy Day, ended by Bonita with a song entitled Reprise, they tried to serenades their music to touch the corners our soul, to brought life into this movie. Hopefully, through this movie, our comprehension on hemophilia disease will increase, to put away all discriminations upon the patients and encourage our concern towards them.
