  • It's the real McCoy - all original.

  • Yes, the Windsor ramp on the Hawkesbury River.

  • Is the timber ski boat seen in the water at the ramp "Comanche" as seen in Graham Lloyd's book Cool Boats??

    Very nice!.....

  • Well spotted Dec0dog. It's the same boat.

  • is this a restor or a replica? either way great work love watching the vintage boats.

  • @gottagoat This is built like a vintage Hydroplane. Looks like it has all the parts and it will get on a plane. Not like a modern 3 point hull that skims the water on the sponsons and rides the prop only about 1/2 of it but still it is a hydroplane..Look at pictures from The Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum if you doubt me.

  • hey is that windsor river boat ramp?

  • Look it up in the dictonary, hydro means to use water for power, plane means to fly, thus the only thing in the water should be the prop. this is no hydroplane, its a drag boat, its not even balanced right to get up out of the water, and even if it did go fast enough, if it came up out of the water, it wouldn't fly, the design is so far off base its ridicullous

  • wankers

  • I'd like to go tubing behind that boat...

  • that thing sounds like a tank! Awesome boat.
