Anne Mpinda and Victor Ndayishimiye each filed with the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario complaints against six faculty and staff members of the University of Ottawa's School of Nursing. These undergraduate Nursing students are represented by human rights lawyer Yavar Hameed.

A joint press conference will be held at 11:00am Friday, April 29 in the rotunda of Tabaret Hall, 550 Cumberland at the University of Ottawa.

Ms. Mpinda and Mr. Ndayishimiye's complaints concern racial discrimination. Much like the ongoing complaints filed by 3 medical residents at the U of O Faculty of Medicine, made public on March 9, 2011, their complaints include allegations of discrimination, reprisals and intimidation.
