This is a pedal generator I built out of an old bicycle and a 110 volt dc motor out of an old electric lawn mower, running a 110 volt, 250 watt heat light.

  • the bulb is AC not DC. and wasn't that a DC motor. it would not work. but good vid.

  • @mountain177 The 110 volt, incadecent bulb, will work on AC or DC just the same. It was a DC motor yes, but when it was in the electric lawn mower, it was hooked up to a rectifier that converted the AC to DC. Great question.

  • @bloodynikka1 a hp is 746 watts, thats not a kw

  • 100 watts at 110 volts require less than one amp, while 60 watts at 12 volts require 5 amps.

  • @bloodynikka1 Maybe if you're Lance bloody Armstrong!

  • @sOUthpArkMExXNiKKUZz A (7 Watt) nightlight would be a breeze compared to this 250 watt heat light, lol.
