Anya & Aladdin - She's the One

**I'm putting this up again because I editted the final scene, thanks to alyinwonderland9 giving me a tiny little shove :) I definitely like it better now :D**

It took me ages to get this crossover just right, but I'm really excited because I finally got it to look the way I wanted it to, and I'm actually very proud of it.

I did initially intend to keep some of the scenes in their original colour, but because a lot of scenes didn't match because of the colour, I decided - for simplicity - to stick to sepia to avoid confusion. Just as a note, the bright black and white scenes are memories.

Hopefully you can more or less understand the story by watching the video, but just in case, this is how it goes:

Anya and Aladdin are both lonely orphans who come from similar backgrounds. One day, they see each other and it's love at first sight, but they don't get the chance to actually meet.

Then, not long afterwards, they bump into each other while exploring an old building. At first, Anya panics and takes off, but Aladdin recognises her as the girl he'd fallen in love with.

They continue to explore together until Aladdin comes across a lamp. When he picks it up, though, all hell breaks loose. The building begins to fall apart and collapse into a sea of molten lava. Anya is able to grab onto a hold, but Aladdin falls straight into the lava.

Five years later, we see Aladdin again, now all dressed up. He almost died back then, but he was saved just in the nick of time by the flying carpet. Later, the genie in the lamp emerges and turns him into a prince.

But he isn't happy, despite his new life. He is continually plagued by memories of the girl he loved, believing that she is dead, feeling guilty because he'd failed to save her.

However, he then comes across headlines stating that the long-lost Romanov princess has been found. He sees the picture of the young princess and immediately recalls seeing Anya standing next to a portrait of the same girl. He realises how much Anya resembles her, and he begins to hope that she may still be alive.

He takes off to the party held in honour of the princess, and, sure enough, he finds Anya alive and well and surprised that Aladdin had made it out of the disaster as well. Finally, the two have a chance to start over, with better lives ahead and with each other.
