GOW 3 is a must buy if you own a PS3, and if you don't care about the story, this is the only GOW game you have to buy. The graphics are definitely some of the best you will ever see, and the gameplay rocks. There is not one weak boss battle throughout the game. However, I look at GOW 3 as sort of a one hit wonder, because both games before it were not as diverse in their gameplay, and GOW Ascension did not produce anything new from GOW3.
