  • They exhibit a geotropic response as they attach and grow upwards, the leaves become larger and larger, and as they grow downward they become progressively smaller. I don’t see a reason that the stems would die from growing along a counter or cabinet top. They may not have performed well on the picnic table due to the density of the foliage on top of itself, or too much moisture, or change in light levels. We hope this is helpful!

  • To kevink18 - please see our grower's response to your question....you can either prune the stems back or gently place them on the top of the cabinets. I have seen this on top of cabinets and they will continue to grow. They do prefer to cascade down or in a tropical / sub-tropical climate they will attach to the tree with aerial roots and grow upwards.

  • Healthy and vibrant and once again!

  • I have a large Pothos thats been growing for 2yrs. We're going to change its location in our house soon. My mom insists that the leaves shouldn't touch anything or they'll die (furniture, the floor, the counter etc). Can you advise? We want to put it on top of the kitchen cabinets where the vines will most likely touch the wood tops of them. It once was on our wood picnic table for 2 months and it didn't seem to do too well. Can't let it hang any more, the vines are extremely heavy now. Thanks.

  • when mine gets thinned out, i just take cuttings, and root them in water, then i plant them in the center if its bare. Otherwise i just like to start new plants.

  • Is it bad to NOT pinch your pothos because I like it when they grow like 10 feet long in 20 directions...lol...I also have another question on you facebook page.

  • thanks for the video ^^ <3
