Man the walls is the first level I built in Half-Life 2's Hammer editor. The Level was created over a period of 4 weeks. The goal of the level is create a wide variety of NPC AI Interaction in a small space. The player is tasked with defending computers with valuable data until they are rescued by Alyx Vance. The enemy AI has prioritized targets and objectives. They follow a preset assault path inspired by games like Space Invaders and Galaga. Throughout the level, the player must defend a small area filled with bottlenecks and cover with limited health and energy resources.
