The story opens with young Jarik in a feverish dream; visions of a devilish being awakening from an eternal sleep. Awakened by this nightmare of ultimate evil, Jarik goes to join the warriors of his village. Laughed away by the practicing soldiers, he runs to a secluded area to collect himself. There Jarik meets Leyalla, a young woman who is destined to become a Dagger of Virtue, and offers to "set fire to her spirit"... whatever that means. However Tylonee, her older sister, cock blocks Jarik by reminding Leyalla she is not to be touched by a man, as it would taint her spirit. What a bummer. Just when Jarik's day couldn't get any worse, Dagani attack his village and burn his house down! But these aren't Dagani, but monsters in their form! Jarik is able cold cock one of them, who coughs up a magical stone that sears a mystic symbol into his hand. Now he has to go on a journey to find out what the symbol means, AND prove the Dagani are not to blame for the attack on his village. And so the story is set, what magical realms will Jarik venture to? What is the meaning of the symbol? And what the hell was that in the beginning of the cutscenes?! Find the answer to all these questions with me, as I play The Legend of Alon Dar!

  • Wow, someone's actually doing a Let's Play of this game. Even though it is the worst RPG in my opinion, I gotta give you props for doing an LP of this game. And yes, I have played this game all the way through if you're wondering.

  • @Eclipton I'm getting the hand of it now, it's not that bad, but I haven't played that many RPGs outside of Pokemon, so what do I know? Ha.

  • Interesting, never heard of this game. Looked it up on Wikipedia, but there was not enough information.

Funny how Roger L. Jackson is in this game. I can recognize his voice like Nolan North. How did you find this interesting game?

  • @JojoMonReturns91 it was $1.99 at GameStop, so I HAD to pick it up. Apparently no one knows anything about it.
