Allons Danser

This version is based on the playing of Bois Sec Ardoin on the Canray Fontenot CD Hot Sauce. The group on that recording has a very "swingy" , Creole feel and I have tried to demonstrate that "feel" here. In the middle of the clip, I put in some more of the licks that I usually play. Toward the end of the clip, I played a slowed-down, simple version. i don't normally play this tune in such a "swingy" style, but this demo is based on Bois Sec and Canray...the source. The tune is very simple and it is very easy to make up your own version...make sure to listen to the source however...that can never lead you astray.
