This I know well! There's nothing like Kreisler. He was the dedicatee of Ernest Schelling's Violin Concerto, which he performed quite a bit. I know I've asked too many questions like this, but are there any extant recordings of Kreisler playing it? I need to learn how to research these things.

I prefer the snappier tempo of this recording over the other version you recently posted, but Kreisler's trademark warm tone is not as present here. However, both renditions are wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing. :)
