  • what is the point of this video if the zeroes didn't win?

  • Lol, what the hell?

  • This was a good movie

  • great,f14 noobs they have missiles and that the Japanese have zeros? a shrapnel? prefer the Japanese zero f14 and garbage if the guys soubesem fly knocked in two hours, victory for the Japanese

  • How do you say "What the f**k?" in Japanese?

  • great movie :) i remeber it

  • @lastswordfighter Actually those F-4's are dissapearing. We have have been riging them as QF-4 target drones for live fire practice. I love the Tomcat, but the powers that be think that having one plane (F/A-18) do it is better. I think it is a jack of all trades & master of none.

  • I still prefer the Zero.

  • @CRsBeem Kids these days....No....The Japanese pilot didn't know about jets etc.

I'M saying that a Zero driver, who DID know about jets, would know his best tactic in a gunfight would be to keep his speed below 250 kts indicated, actually closer to around 200, KEEP TURNIN', and try to drag the Tom into a low speed knife fight.

The Cat is gonna' have a bitch of a time getting the pipper on-target, if he's rippin' along a 500 knots...

Probably run outta gas before he could get a shot.

  • @MachOverspeedsPlace No question a zero can/could turn inside a Tom, but the Tom can engage and disengage from a guns fight as fast as required. In fact, the inside joke of this scene is that early few seconds wherein the Zero initially seeks to outclimb the Cat! Ps. The Zero driver could not possible "know his business" having never seen or imagined a Mach 2.4 fighter aircraft with a t2w ratio greater than 1!
