@MrBrianx21 I paid 5K for the 8 drums back in December 2006, long before the SQ 2 line became overinflated. The kit arrived at my house May 3rd 2007.

@axedstoninst 10,000 was probably MSRP, am I right? cause most music stores won't charge you nearly that much. I know a guy who bought a pearl masterworks, with MSRP around 10K, and his local Pearl dealer gave him a price of around 7500 bucks. Still not exactly cheap, but hey, they're not cheap drums either.

just curious how did you set up your sound proof room man and can you make one in you garage and replace i into other houses after you move

@MrAshish4211 I use thick foam pads put in each corner of the room and some on the ceiling and a few small pieces at the center of each wall. If I move, I take the foam and cover the nail holes. I wouldn't recommend sound proofing your room with expensive materials if you're a renter. If you're a homeowner, that would be great.
