Michigan Emergency Managers Making 6 Figure Salaries

Governor Rick Synder in Michigan has appointed "Emergency Managers" to go in a fix the financial situations in Michigan cities. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian discuss how much money these appointed managers are making in contrast to how much money the people who they are laying off are making. The emergency managers are paid by the taxpayer.

@TransHero The seven grand is usually perfectly acceptable to the city council because it's the fringe benefits they are after, such as bribes, gov't vehicles, help yourself to as much gov't property as you can carry, stealing gas from the city motor pool, etc., etc., etc.

Politicians only making $7 grand a year? Why is this limited only to city council members and not senators and congressmen? If you guys REALLY want to do away with wasteful spending, start with the assholes responsible for it in the first place.
