i was there that day Carey demolished Collingwood at Vic Park.I'm a pie fan.By 1/4 time in the outer we we're mumbling what the fuck is happening.By 1/2 time we we're just staring at our feet or just looking on stunned.It was one of t hose a star is born moments.you realized that this bloke was going to be a great player.only the great teams dominated collingwood at vic park.ive never seen a player destroy a side like that either before or since.

You can't judge who's the greatest player by who gets the most kicks, goals, marks etc (though there is no player in history who averaged both more goals and more possessions than Carey), because different positions are different.
