Funniest Joke I Ever Heard 1984 Jack Lemmon

Jack Lemmon tells his favorite joke in which an actor keeps a diary about being an unknown actor. In the first entry, he writes about not complaining about being an unknown actor as he will be the opening act in a theatre. In the second entry, he drank the ink.

It's pretty much an in-joke for actors. Lemmon sets up the ideal situation for an actor to be in the limelight but then it all goes wrong when "the old character actor" who was supposed to be little more than scenery upstages him by doing something zany like drinking the ink.
