The $16.00 HP75 color cartridge is the biggest rip-off in the industry.

Uninstall the full HP Drivers. Then plug the printer back in. Let Windows find and install only the basic driver from the install disk. (Without the ink level monitor. There is a reason HP tells you to only plug in the printer when their driver install asks for it.)

Never let your cartridge run dry before refilling it.

Buy ink in bulk.

If you allow the cart. to sit overnight, you won't need the purge/prime tool.
