The Tampa Police Department Memorial Committee invites the public to participate in the 15th Annual Tampa Police Memorial 5K/1-Mile Run-Walk on 10/10/09. The Memorial Run-Walk starts in downtown Tampa at Madison St. / Tampa St. and proceeds to Bayshore Blvd. Beforing finishing back in downtown Tampa at Madison St. / Franklin St. The entry fee is $10 through 10/09/09. After that date, the registration fee will be $15. Proceeds from the Memorial Run-Walk fund the Police Museum, Memorial Scholarship Program, Charity Donations and Tampa Police Memorial Improvements.

Participants may register online at Active.Com. Additionally, Tampa Sports Authority stores will be holding pre-race registrations on 9/19/09 & 9/26/09 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Runners will receive their race number, a T-shirt and a race packet. Race chips will be issued on the day of the run.
