Loved these two! I think one reason the question of what our picture of God is like is a difficult one is that it works in the reverse. It's not just that we become like the God we picture, but that the way we see God has a strange resemblance to who we already are. We tend to redraw God in our own image. We can also fashion our picture of Jesus in our own image. If we are angry, we might see in him the angry God who turns the tables over in the temple. If we tend toward self esteem issues we m
