A PR ranking has nothing to do with a high ranking in the search results. For example, if you Google "How to get a high position on Google", my website ranks #1 out of over 100 million results. The same goes for all of my other websites and those of my clients. If you know how to create a well designed website that targets the right search queries, you won't need to care about your PR.
