well then what are your thoughts on hatsune miku? She's nothing but a synthisized voice from a computer, but she's gained enough popularity along with her music to put on "live" concerts via holographic projection.

As far as the fart thing. Well...lets just say i've seen family guy. xD

I could make a dubstep or whatever track but nobody would like it 'cos I don't have a taste for it.

You can make an argument for a computer being an instrument but, music class doesn't have a computer as a choice. When you hear a rock/metal group they don't have a computer, an orchestra don't have a computer section. They use computers to clean it up but it's not a primary instrument.

You can create music from anything but I wouldn't say a fart is a musical master piece lmao

hmm I see what your saying, though i could never do a dubstep of anything or even techno. Though who says a computer cant be an instrament? i mean there are people who made instraments out of trash cans and such. Stomp being the most primary example. So couldn't a computer just be considered a different kind of instrament?

I say that 'cos rap, dubstep, techno, house etc aren't made with instruments ... all you need is a taste for it and a computer.

If you don't have a taste that matches the masses then nobody will like your stuff, if you don't have a computer then you can't make the noise.

It requires no skill to make dubstep, just play around with the equipment till you get a noise you like, add a beat, then a melody and you're done.

Rap, i dont like much of save for a few select songs here and there, but whats wrong with dubstep? I mean I'd call it real music, it's more towards the techno genre(at least to my opinion).

WOW, you can't really hand bang to this, the drums are being tickled and there is no strings being yanked.

If you listen to dubstep or rap then actual music may take you by surprise but this is far from heavy.
