Released in 2000, Deus Ex's depth of narrative and complexity still outshines modern shooters such as Crysis and Bioshock. Playing as UNATCO agent J.C Denton, the player must travel across the globe while unraveling a web of conspiracies that threaten the very concept of freedom. The soundtrack, composed by Alexander Brandon, Michiel van den Bos and Dan Gardopee was released with early versions of the GOTY edition of Deus Ex and masterfully complements the bleak, gritty feel of the game.

  • Hiya, any idea if there are alternative sources to the link given by the description? The one given is dead.

  • @JCDenton50

The house was fine, but I totally agree about Aquinas. It has the same problem HR did- the ending enemies were totally different.

  • @Slayerfan777 If you ask me, FF7 was the Deus Ex of RPG :P

  • @JCdenton50

I totally agree with that, the chateau could have been exploited more.

  • @mirceaneo it does fit perfectly with the storyline of her family but i would have liked to see the house being used. Same with the Aquinas labs, i wish i could have fought against the soldiers instead of dealing with the monsters and robots and security cameras and turrets. Its much more fun to cause the chaos anyway.

  • @emperorpsymon it shows just how epic this game actually is :P

  • @JCdenton50

it fits perfectly with what happens in the game when this plays, how nicolette recalls facts about her mother and Everret

  • This song is just depressing to me, its so......sad and what happened to Beth Dculare is sad.

  • @themasteriswatching Yes, I know that. I wasn't talking about engines, I was just stating my opinion on what games I think are as amazing as Deus Ex...

  • @CrazyLirik Return to Castle Wolfenstein runs on id Tech 3, not Unreal engine (obviously). It's an id franchise.
