On May 21, 2009, at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C., USA Today's political editor Catalina Camia (USC Class of 1986) moderated a panel discussion about the Obama administration titled "USC in DC: One Hundred Days -- A Look at the First 100 Days of the New President and Congress." The event featured two of USC's leading faculty members: Susan Estrich, the Robert Kingsley Professor of Law and Political Science at the USC Gould School of Law, and Dan Schnur, director of the Jesse M. Unruh Institute of Politics at USC. The USC in DC event was co-sponsored by the USC Alumni Association, the USC Annenberg School for Communication, the USC College of Letters, Arts & Sciences, the USC Gould School of Law, the Jesse M. Unruh Institute of Politics, the USC School of Policy, Planning, and Development and the USC Alumni Club of the nation's capital.
