I microwaved a metal fork, first with a glass, then without the glass, with no arcing. I then placed the fork, so it touched the metal around the sides of the turn table, it then created a bit of plasma.

  • Because a student in Milwaukee blow up a teacher microwave just for lunch, that was 2 years ago I'm still seeing that student.

  • Although actually not every flame is a partial plasma. Some are just not hot enough to be considered this.
