This is the final step before slaughter for beef. Only bulls are slaughtered, and must be castrated first to increase the dollar value ($1,000).
This is sustainable ranching. These cows have 600 acres to free range on and they do not do veal here. Babies get to live with their mothers until becoming either dairy cows or bulls for slaughter.
Imagine what they must do at these factory farms? All of us could reduce our beef consumption probably. I know I have after meeting these sweet fellows so intimately.
