    HUSBAND: "No darling, it's awful!"

WIFE: "When I go shopping next, I'll make sure to get you something nice dear!"

*Wife wonders what she'll do to fix the problem*

    2003

WIFE: "Do you like the coffee sweetheart?"

    HUSBAND: "I'm sorry, I don't. It's horrible"

WIFE: "Then get off your damn ass and buy the friggin coffee yourself, you ungrateful piece of crap!"

  • @Vydio Ah, ok. Thank you very much!

  • @LiebeItai At the time this commercial was made people generally made coffee by using a percolator. You rarely see this now because we use drip coffee makers.

  • Wtf does "fresh-perked" mean?

  • Are their names really Mary and Jane? har har har!

  • ya just wanna go back and smack the shit out of everyone back then...

  • That blonde defines the word "perky"

  • He then prossceded to beat and rape her as there was no laws agenst it back then apparently, 0_o thats some scary shit

  • @shippem - These commercials are really a blast from the past. To see how advertisers thought back then is hilarious. There is no way you would see an ad like this today, but at the time this kind of thinking was common place if very sexist in it's attitude......

Like women are going to stress out because hubby doesn't like the coffee you give him in the morning! ;)

  • @woohooboy how did be get so backwards...

  • That's a lie. Most instant coffees do not taste like fresh perked, brewed or pressed coffee. Maybe just a tad worse then that generic brand my hospital has in our break room for the drip maker.
