  • drum major says "band tend hut" then my band responds with saying "pride"

  • I have never heard of another band that does this. We say 'atten-hut' and the band replies 'hut'!

  • ours is: "Band ten hut and hit!" with the D.M's clapping the tempo

  • yep our drum major claps and says band, ten hut with the tempo she claps it in

  • our band responds w/ state since that is our goal just sayin

  • bark it? Really? Sounds kinda nasty and unclear when commands are barked. Also, every band does have different responses.. not ever band says "sir" after a command. My band says "one"

  • make sure that the band responds in tempo with the command
