The Genuine 36 Pirouettes

YES - WE ARE FULLY AWARE THAT THESE ARE NOT BALLET PIROUETTES! Alicia Clifton is doing 36 pirouettes wearing tap shoes on a wood floor in front of 5 official witnesses and about 100 people. She made 10 attempts; 19 27 15 14 29 36 33 25 31 23. A Guinness World Record! She attempted to break this record on the REGIS & KELLY show on September 15, 2006, but only managed to do 34 that day. The most she has ever accomplished is 41 while practicing for the REGIS & KELLY show. Update Dec 2011: Alicia now has set a second Guinness World Record for the most Fouettes A La Seconde in 30 seconds on the Guinness show in Beijing, China.

jazz shoes are way more slippery then point or normal ballet shoes, if you go the leaast bit off center you can fall reallly badly. Well done!!! that was amazing!
