Thanks for the original producers Lamont Dozier and brothers Brian Holland & Edward Holland, Jr. . And also the amazing Dionne Warwick. Song is from 73 and still fresh. Props to Just Blaze for the skillful sampling. J Dilla also. But he gets the respect he deserves anyway.

Yeah, I agree Kanye would've done good on this. Lil Twist uses a beat a lot like this on one of his songs with Lil Wayne.

Originally produced for Dr. Dre's detox album, the track originally had the concept of Dr. Dre rapping about how the rap game needs 'him back' after being away, hence the sample 'Your conna want me back' in the beat.
