Our Local YARMOUTH radio station CJLS AND OWNER ROY ZINCK TOOK IT UPON HIMSELF TO ATTRIBUTE ONE OF THESE BIZARRE STATEMENTS Made by Martha Cassidy, TO ME....his nose began growing immediately....I have no idea why this lady began bashing the Anglicans ...but you had to see her face as she delivered. By The Way both the ex-chairwoman and her replacement are Catholics.....

It breathes new life into the protestant - catholic wars here in good old nova scotia.

You dumb bitch!!! This is the church I went to as a child, it is only once a week that they park there. And for complaining about parked cars I would love to met upwith yo in adark fuckin alley, I know FOR A FACT that there is enough room for other cars to drive on the road, AND I KNOW FOR A FACT that there is still room to walk. One you have enough money to GIVE them to build a parking lot... shut the fck up

I can't believe I found this. Seriously?! Martha Cassidy said this? She better not show her face in that church again, of course parking is of no consequence since she lives up the road and can stroll over.

Aside from the fact that as "Forest ST Heritage committee" should know, that church has been there since 1873 and as old as Martha is, cars have been parking on the side of William and Forest far longer than she's lived on Forest, I'd know, I grew up across from that church..

Understandably smaller towns work to budgetary considerations, i.e. low budgets. So easy fixes are tempting. However, they should really consider how low their budget will be once all charm is gradually removed - along with the complete tourist industry. Walking a few metres from where you are parked to where you are going is not such a big deal, a completely bottomed-out town is!
