Nice music. It's refreshing to hear actual orchestration, melody, harmony, and good phrasing. Some people might think it sounds old fashioned but I think it's just solid composing. Good job! Kind like the nod to Williams' Ark theme from Raiders of the Lost Ark!

Isn't his conducting movements a little over the top considering the music's slow and relatively soft sound? Just struck me as odd. I'm not a conductor though.

@jazzmatik no, but it just helps to cut out a middle man and get exactly what you've got in your mind to the players. If you want to, you can conduct, you'll be fine.

Do you have to be a conductor to be a film score composer?

Thanks, I'm definitely living what I dreamed of years ago. Though it's a lot more work that I thought it would be.

It's a nice life, but also lots of work.

Thanks, I hope filmmakers keep hiring me so I can keep writing awesome scores too!

It's unfortunately also now closed down. Apparently it was too expensive to keep open, and they want to turn the historic scoring stage into offices.

George here, I'm actually not sure, I have a closet full of ethnic wind and percussion instruments that I've collected from around the world. But my main instruments are Clarinet, Piano, and Guitar.
