This is not entirely true, qawwali is not only sung in front of poor people. Qawwali is sung in khanka's and peoples houses who are often quite affluent. And orthadox muslims do not dissapprove of the use of music - wahabbi fanatics do.

The narrator's description of Qawwali was flooded in error. Qawwals don't attack puritanism, they're not mainly watched by poor people, and they're not confined to Sufis.

I have posted the full program here on youtube.
it was basically a sabri brothers concert. with this little segment as an introduction, after this it went straight to "zehal-e-miskeen, then Piya Ghar Aya & finishes with Shabaz Qalandar.
