2008 Dodge Sprinter 2500 Diesel Start Up & Rev With Exhaust View - 54K

2008 Dodge Sprinter 2500 Cargo Van

This has a 3.0L DOHC Diesel Engine making 154 HP but a decent 280 lbs ft. Torque at low RPM.

This thing is like a rolling Trailer inside, You can here an echo if you speak inside. The Diesel engine sounded fine & this thing has a big view as it sits rather high. 1 Thing I find a bit annoying though is the High Roof, but the advantage to that is the amount of space in the cargo area & the ability to stand upright while inside making it for easy access for the work folks.

There is basically a rebadged Mercedes / Freightliner

There were a few others around and they didnt seem to care, & I didnt think it was an issue either as the rev limiter was kicking. But I've heard Fed-Ex & UPS drivers freakin make these vans scream out there, And on the Highway, chances are they're speeding which is usually the case when I spot 1.

i hope the engine was warm before you started it, rev limiter on a engine is never good,especially bad when cold!

be careful reving it, those dodge engines like to come apart when you do that.
