Pavement was a band that influenced all the other indie bands that came after the nineties. Pavement was one of the most creative, original and brilliant bands that existed. Here is my tribute. GENIUSES!
This is true i recall a plans era ben gibbard interview saying he was really influenced by pavement but hated major leagues clip as Malkmus was acting all goofty to a serious song. Love the vhs quality.
Best CCR cover I've ever seen. Granted, I don't listen to a lot of live music so it's the ONLY CCR cover I've ever seen, but still these guys are great. Just picked up a copy of Wowee Zowee... and... wow.
This is a fantastic cover, and it makes me happy to see modern bands covering such classics (My Chemical Romance even did a cover of "Fortunate Son" which was pretty good). The jam, too...my god. I'm definitely going to be checking out more of Pavement.
I would disagree with labeling it as "untouchable" for one reason, though. The screaming at 0:19 and 0:23 that they repeat throughout the song...I don't get it. Everything is so good, but that one inclusion just sounds horrible.

Amazing songs though.
