it's social model vs. medical model NOT mild vs. severe disability

Your posts are so intelligent. I love listening to you. (Your music is good, too!). I am a 61 year old woman, just finally diagnosed with ASD! I wish I had known as much as you know of the disability long ago. Instead I blamed myself for EVERYTHING. You make me so aware of all I still feel at this age and felt. Am writing a book about it all because not as articulate as you are. You have lots going for you from what I have seen of your other videos. Keep talking. Love them, LN RED

@Essanach Thank god for the youtube word limit on comments. Otherwise I wouldn't know when to stop writing. If only everyday life were as simple. :)

Interesting. Isn't that a form of the logical fallacy ad hominem? The implication when they say that seems to be "You only think/say that because you have have a mild/severe disability". This illegitimately undermines or dismisses an argument or perspective by switching issues to the person and by referencing or making assumptions about their level of disability, rather than sticking to the facts of the subject at hand. So, it's either a fallacious debating tactic or an unreasonable assumption.

Thanks - definitely food for thought!
I actually wrote a satire about this and put it on youtube. Nobody's watched it yet, but that might be because I don't put much effort into my videos lol
