Just a word of advice (been riding superbikes for about 19 years now) If any of your gear is annoying to you, change it. When I was a noob-racer the front brake on my bike had a rather "spongy" feel to it. I didn't think twice about riding anyway. But the frontend wasn't giving me feedback + the brakes weren't either. so ended up in the gravel. If the brakes would've had more feel, maybe I wouldn't have crashed then. Anyway, ever since then, if anything annoys me, I'm not riding till it's fixed.

When I first got my ride, I did something similar, but didn't drop, thankfully. Like I dummy, I tried to do a slow, tight turn on a banked road. Turned Kawasaki green trying to keep that bike up. heh.

@xXUSMCGRIFFXx I was just kidding around. no offense. but yeah 600 is a great beginners bike, add some weight

@PointlessComedy Why exactly? The 650 is only a parallel twin so it's not like it's going to do a back flip when I hit the gas. I'm not going to ride like a daredevil either (...well, at first at least xD), I have ridden a dirt bike before (although it was a 250) and I had no problem with it at all

@xXUSMCGRIFFXx skinny ass should get a 250cc

@kryten lol, thanks man. When I turn 18 the first thing I am going to do is go and check out some different bikes and see which is best and save up some money for one.

@kryten @kryten I was actually just looking at those two bikes before I read your reply. I think I actually like the way the Ninja looks better. Do you know how good the the Kawasaki bikes actually are? I'm not really into motorcycles that much to know the pros and cons of different manufacturers of different models (...yet)

hey, I am turning 18 soon and I'm thinking about maybe saving up for a bike. How is it riding a sport bike? Is it uncomfortable to be bent over the tank and does it cause any back pain? (I have enough of that already lol). Also, I have a very strange body frame. I'm 6'5" and very skinny (only 165lbs), would it be difficult for me to find a bike/to ride one?

@xXUSMCGRIFFXx It can be a bit uncomfortable on long rides. You might want to look at a more upright bike like a Ninja 650 or an FZ6. Go sit on a bunch at dealers and see if you can find one that seems to fit you. There are so many to chose from it can be hard. If you look around you should find one that fits you though.
Good luck!

@xXUSMCGRIFFXx People I know who had a Ninja 650 loved it. The best way to find the right bike is to go sit on several and see what seems to feel like it fits you. There have been bikes that I thought I wanted and was ready to buy them after researching them online. Then when I actually sat on them they just didn't feel right, too tall, too short, too top heavy. It took me a while to find one that I felt was just right. I guess that's one lesson of Goldilocks. That and don't steal from bears.

Thanks for your quick reply,I love busa for its looks.I've seen enough crashes and accidents so I've decided not to drive fast at all.The purpose is riding accross the downtown at propably 30 mph and just listening the beast roar on the road.I just love the finish and the dynamics of the bike so much,since 2004 i'm in love this bike,finally the day has come where i can afford one.So for this kind of use and purpose do you think i can have this bike? How the road grip and stability of the bike ?

@KEVINSTER8287 A Busa for going 30mph through town?! You'll never take it out of first gear! If you're commuting you should probably get something lighter and easier to handle. If you have your heart set on a Busa get it but I've realized for practical reasons the look of the bike shouldn't really be considered. I got mine for looks and sometimes wish I got something more suited for my purposes.

Thank you so much for your inputs,planning to get a Hayabusa.What your take on the bike?
KEVINSTER8287 7 months ago
@KEVINSTER8287 Depends on what you want to do with it. I think Hayabusas are overkill for most things unless you're doing long trips and then there are lots of better bikes for trips. What kind of riding do you plan to do?
