@Dornier335A Okej, jag menar att man kan ha KNO3 och florsocker som drivmedel till en raket. Alltså om man packar det i ett rör med t.ex. kattsand.

@smexykid666 Oh, i say wrong. Thats the mix for an another kind of lift powder :)

@smexykid666 If you have KNO3 (potassium nitrate) you can take 21g kno3 and 11g powdered sugar, it will work good too :)

Would I be able to use potassium nitrate instead of sodium nitrate?

Hello!
when I use NaNO3, there it comes a trouble. It comes wet really easily. Could it get wet inside a shell stored for some days?
What could I do?
(For that I prefer to use KClO3, but it's harder to get...)
Thanks!

Yes, NaNO3 is hygroscopic. Dry it in an oven before you are going to use it, and store it on a dry place. It's winter here in Sweden now so the air is quite dry. I store some of my NaNO3 in an open container and it doesn't get wet at all. So I don't think there is going to be any problem.

Small but nice work. I would like to know more about the lift charge and the visco fuse. Did you make both of them and how? Would appreciate if you could share.

@RedneckNit09
The lift powder is homemade granulated sulphurless black powder. I usually don't use visco fuse, I use homemade black match, but it's best to use visco.
