Here I am using foods as an example. You can apply this technique with any bad habit. For example if you want to quit smoking, just go through the 3 steps. 1. Decide that you want to quit. 2. Look at rotten smokers lungs, or visit a hospital where people are sick and dieing from smoking etc. 3. Find people who have successfully quit, or find people who have a great time without smoking , hang out with non smoking people and do what they do for fun. Find the benefits of not smoking.!!! NEver give up!!!

  • @552amy maybe just go the positive route, like pictures of beautiful nails......oh and maybe find something else to chew.....that is even more fun than your nails

  • ive been smoking for about 4 years now and tryed quitting many times and never worked...yesterday i decided to quit cold turkey which is something i didnt do the last times do you think this is a better way for quitting?? im actually wanting one really bad now but ive tried to think about the money id save and the better health i would have in my7 future. i am 19 years old

  • If you are really serious about quiting, DO NOT hang out with others who smoke. Find the people who are living the life you want and try to associate with them. What ever you do, don't give up, just keep trying! Your life will just get better and better. THink of things that are way more fun to do than smoking and do them! Look at the other people with lung cancer and illness, look at the healthy strong people that you want to follow! Keep trying, if at first you don't succeed, try try again!

  • My habit is worse than nail biting. It is called soothing, I have been doing for my whole life and it is almost impossible to stop. I have been on countless medications, talked to many therapists. I am aware that this is a sick habit, I just don't want live chewing my own skin everyday anymore. If anyone can, please tell me how I can heal my habit, or at least make it better.
