"the scientist" - simba/kenai

storyline ___________________________
Simba is hunting and comes across Kenai, a lone bear. Kenai runs, but ends up getting 'caught'. After being initially scared of Simba, Kenai then starts to berate himself for being frightened of a lion. Simba sorta cheers him up, la de da. All if happy for a few seconds--just pretend that they become best buds and fall in animal-love and all :D

Then Kenai asks Simba where he comes from, and Simba reluctantly tells him about the pride, led by Zira. Kenai suggests they go there, and Simba adamantly refuses, saying that Zira would have both their skins for it. They get into a little argument and Simba leaves.

Watching from the shadows, one of Zira's scouts waits for Simba to attack the bear. And waits. And waits. And nothing happens. Vitani, the scout, brings this information to Zira, who is righteously pissed.

Simba returns, only to be confronted about the bear. He denies nothing. Zira gives him until sunset to leave--after that, he will be hunted. Simba flees, looking for Kenai.

The rest after that is fairly self-explanatory. Sunset happens just as Kenai hears Simba calling him, and the pride attacks Simba. Kenai tries to help, but cannot save Simba.

Then Kenai goes all angsty and goes on a bit of a suicide mission to the cold mountains of the north. When he reaches one of the highest peaks, an eagle comes to him. Kenai takes this as a sign from Simba. Then eagle!simba flies away and Kenai follows to... idunno. Freedom.

Then a fllashforward to the future--Kenai, with a cub of his own, looking at cave paintings. The cub is afraid of the lion, but curiously asks, "Who's that?"

Kenai's not sure what the answer is.

The part with the cliff and kenai trying to pull him back up was fantastic! Everything was so cool, I never imagined a crossover like this, everything blended together so well.

wow that was pretty cool but I seriously wouldn't have guessed that whole storyline without your help XD I understood the beginning and most of the end but it became very muddled for me in between.

Thank god you explained it :) I like the match up between Kenai and Simba and that was such a heartfelt ending with the ghost trails :)

Oh wow, thats one of the best Videos here on youtube. The wunderfull music an the scenes makes me cry. That was amazing! I love it so much! Its a shame that i can give you only five stars for this beautifull Video! (I hope this is right, my English is not very well :D)
