Xmas 2007, my mrs bought me a Twister Hawk, great fun & then I bought myself a Blade 400 3D, but the servos SUCK & the gyro went duff on me. It was FAR to twitchy for my liking, so I bought Phoenix flight sim & a few weeks later along comes Mr.Titan followed by a trex600E, which is still being built. I have only EVER hovered the titan for about 10 minutes in total with a couple of forward flights, most of my flying time is on the Phoenix flight sim. This sim is worth it's weight in gold & if anyone wants to know what heli to buy...just watch the video, the Mini Titan is superb & very stable. Don't ask me what pitch & throttle settings I'm using as I don't know. I copied them over from the blade 400 as I am using the R/C gear from that PANTS heli. Spektrum DX6i & AR 6100e + 4 x Hitech HS65MG's inluding on tail. Gyro is Futaba 401, battery is 2000mAH..ePants special for £11.

  • newbie? perhaps w/ e325, but not to helis.

i wish i could fly like you

  • @7digitalSunday No, the mini titan was my first heli, I crashed it in summer of 2010 & just stuck with my trex 600E

  • how high does this go 600 feet?

  • @ihateelmoful If you can see it, you're still controlling it.

  • burnrider2001 sorry buddy pressed delete instead of rep[ly, but thanks for your comments.

  • my mini titan with cobra conversion is all over the place...i just upgraded from a show gun v2 and with the titan i used better radio gear futaba 401 with servo and high teck 65hb.i can get it to huver in no wind but seems it have some bad habbits with cg.not sure only huvered it a few times.if you could would you tell me what your control throws are on your radio and at what percent do you have your expo set.

  • I had my expo very low, below 15 from memory. What blades are you running? Radix etc are very light & I found the woodern blades far better for genreal flying.

  • @7digitalSunday when you fly you have to imagine you are in the cockpit, if you really can get into it, it should come naturally.

  • @Macsgrafs nice flying then, i have some hours on a sim. i dont have any experience with any other r/c and what gets me is flying away and turning and coming back in. i cant revers my thinking with it. i move it to the left and i want it to go to the right.

  • Glad it works for you as well my friend, happy landings ;))
