Rise of Nightmares offers an over-the-top horror experience unlike anything you've played before, forcing you to use your whole body against your enemies. Using cutting-edge technology, you will be trapped in a nightmare-world of zombies, monsters and hellish scientists - the only way out is to fight. The nightmare will rise exclusively on Kinect for Xbox 360 on September 6, 2011.

Rise of Nightmares is an upcoming survival horror video game developed and published by Sega for the Xbox 360. The game was revealed at the 2010 Tokyo Game Show, and is designed specifically for Kinect. Players will assume of the role of an American tourist who must rescue his wife from a deranged scientist. Rise of Nightmares will play from a first-person perspective. Similarly to Condemned, players will have to rely on melee weapons, such as brass knuckles, knives, hatchets and chainsaws as opposed to firearms. The game takes place primarily in a mansion-like environment, with players taking on zombie-like creatures and disfigured monsters, which they will be able to dismember and decapitate.
