  • I've cracked the easy 1 strong bit. But my fingers seem to struggle with playing two strings as I can't get them into position to play the note clearly. Does this become easier with practise?

  • Yep it does get easier with practice ! Assuming you're a right handed guitarist - move your fingers towards the right of the fret - it's easier and requires slightly less pressure to get the note to work - hope this helps - Gord ...... let me know how you get on

  • Wish this guy was ACTUALLY my teacher. I teach myself guitar, no forking out money and I learn the songs I want but just as quickly.

Gord seems an amazingly good teacher though. This was the first riff I ever played on guitar and Gord taught it me. I'm forever grateful to this guy, thank you my man.

  • Thanks !!

It's great to hear what you think of my teaching & videos - glad you're enjoying them.

  • thank you soooo much. I can now play smoke on the water :D

  • do you have any ideas for possible training exersises for getting used to changeing frets on multiple strings? cause i just cant seem to put em in the right place

  • Great video but i learned a different way of playing this with 3 strings the 2,3,4th strings going 0,3,5,0,3,6,5,0,3,5,3,0

  • nice

  • instead of strumming the middle two strings, its much easier if you like bring them both together and then release them, gives a better sound and stops you plying the A string accidentally

  • niiiiice thar helped very muchc :D:D
