  • Iv never used more than 3 gallons of oil and never over 375°, iv cooked at least a dozen, including a 30 lb bird two days ago

  • Over 5 gallons of oil? over 500 degrees? I'm thinking this guy is completely oblivious as to what he is talking about when it comes to actually frying a turkey, oh well decent info otherwise, hope those who are thinking of frying a bird take note and do it safely. I deep fried my 3rd bird without incident, I'll never bake another. any questions about the best process, safety concerns, etc. throw me a message I'll be glad to help out any way I can.
