First off Bishop Patterson was always giving and the one who restored the philanthropic arm of the cogic......one things that gets me is that most people who make comments like that are the ones who dont give or tithe......our responsibility is to give if the preist mishandles it then he is responsible to God!

I feel the same way as "jamique04" about MANY other preachers, but if "jamique04" had the Holy Ghost then he could have tried the Spirit by the Spirit. Bishop G. E. Patterson was the only man of God that I can say I would do anything that he asked me to do & Im not even COGIC, nor have I ever been or EVER will be! But that man had the Holy Ghost, was philanthropic (creating COGIC charities), & Annointed. After this message anyone who may not have known him should recognize the Holy Ghost in him!

so what ur saying is that whenever u go into a sanctuary and the min. says I WANT EVERYONE IN HERE 2 GIVE 100 DOLLARS u would even if u never been in that building be4? couple mths ago i went a church in my city that i've never been, them ppl had 4 different offering plates, but yet the pew i was sittin on was broken. that wasn't even the part that got me though, they weren't satisfied i guess with the money they made so they called everybody up again a second time
