  • Fantastic stuff. That is a totally beautiful car.

  • It is taken from the film entitled "Nine Days In Summer". The test took place in early '68 - shortly before the car was repainted in sponsor's colours. Much of it was staged. For instance, in the very last scene as Hill has supposedly just stopped, the car has the intake trumpet covers on.

  • The test with the Lotus 49/Cosworth was held at the Brands Hatch racing circuit in 1967.

  • Look at that tiny roll bar, the top of the driver's helmet is about 4" above it.

  • Just a Godly car and a Godly driver. All of them were at that time.

  • those were times....

  • Looks like the Snetterton track. Check the corner behind Graham just when he enters the pit lane. Also the moment he exits, look at the start/finish straight.

Maybe it's not so obvious if you haven't played GPL :P

  • Without a doubt best car ever created.

  • ....the legendary 'tache!

  • its wider that it looks
