I'm sitting here completely mortified for that poor child. WTF kind of world is it when a child has to suffer like that at the hands of his parents(I use that term loosely.) in the name of god?!

At 21 months, this baby is probably still in diapers. I doubt there would have been any physical evidence from so many spankings even if his mother had taken him to the doctor for a surgery checkup. Plus, they probably wouldn't have examined him without a diaper. Poor kid has no chance. :-(

The Pearls, the Phelpses, and the Pat Robertson-esque people in this world need to be hunted down and exterminated like the monsters they are. If there were some big meeting with all those people together in one room, I would be very happy if some crazed follower set a bomb off in the room so that "they could all live together in heaven".
