In order to watch free, over-the-air broadcasts on an analog TV after February 17, 2009, youll need to hook your TV up to a digital-to-analog converter box. Remember, youll need to get a converter box for each analog TV in your home that receives over-the-air signals.

Your new converter box should come with a coaxial wire, a remote control, AND an instruction manual. We urge you to follow the instructions that come with your particular converter box.

You can also call us or visit our website for detailed information.

But hooking up your converter box up should be fairly simple. First, unplug your TV from the wall. Then, remove the antenna wire that is currently plugged into your TV, and plug it into the Antenna In port on the box. Then, plug one end of the new wire into the Out to TV port on the box, and the other end into the Antenna In port of the TV.

If your antenna wire looks like this, not to worry, just remember to purchase the necessary adaptors that will make it possible for you to use the coaxial ports on the converter box.

  • Omg guys what should I do i setup everyrthing like 6 mos ago and i cant scan channels because i sat on my remote and it broje

  • No, it's cable the sucks because the picture quality of HD Digital Cable is worse then Free Over the air HD TV because Cable compresses the hell out of the signal to get all those channels over that thin wire

  • because signal is shit for the boxes because i just bought one and it sucks even if my signal streangh is like 60 and it still sucks.

And sorry for my profanity a little mad right now.

  • DTV only works well with a relatively strong signal. Unfortunately DTV is easily distorted when you amplify the signal. With an HDTV you can get a better picture if the signal is recieved well enough.

  • How so?

  • Just throw all your old stuff out. Buy a new high definition TV and subscribe to cable because digital broadcast TV is barely watchable even in a large city.
